APLE HOMEWORK 5/10. Deadline Sunday March 20th

Now that you have watched the film "Room" and that I told you to do some research on people who had been kidnapped for a very long period of time,  I want  you to listen to this news from November 2013. It is very short, so you can listen to it many times. They speak with a British accent. If you prefer to listen to it with an American accent, you can do it here.

Once you have listened to the story, at least once, listen again and answer these questions about it.

1.In which part of London were the women held captive?
2.How old are the suspected captors?
3.Who did one of the captive women alert?
4.What are the captives' nationalities?
5.Who is thought to have been born a captive?
6.In what mental state did police describe the women as being?
7.What did the women have no real exposure to for 30 years?
8.What did the police say would take some time to do?
9.Whom did the charity say we often do not know?
10.How did the charity describe the London street?

A) You must READ the question aloud and then ANSWER it ORALLY and then send it to me in a voice file.

B) Read this article about it in The Guardian and send me an audio file with a summary of the piece of news. Try to give any details you didn't hear in the audio for the first part.

So remember, you must send me TWO AUDIO FILES. One with the questions and another one with the summary of the newspaper article.
