APLE LESSON OUTLINE DECEMBER 17th

Hi students,
Last day at the computer room this year. Let's see if we celebrate Xmas.

10 minutes: go to http://voicethread.com/ and watch the video on What's on Voice Thread Anyway?
When you have watched the video, go to "register" and introduce your name (the one you prefer), your email (real) and a password (write it down or remember it very well). If you don't know what to write you can always write aple, javier or marsalas. This will be something importart for the second term.

25 minutes: go to our friend Ana Mendez blog and let's work on Christmas. Do the section "how much do you know about Christmas?, then the section called New Year Resolutions and finally listen to at least one Christmas song (you can see the lyrics on a different tab or window).

10 minutes: It's party time. Go to the karaoke and sing "Last Christmas" or "All I want for Christmas is you" with your mates.

MERRY XMAS 2U ALL!!!!

APLE LESSON OUTLINE DECEMBER 10th

Hi students,
While your partners are taking the oral exam in the corridor, here are your tasks for this week. Take advantage of your time and don't waste it with the "buscaminas" or the "solitario". Don't forget to switch off the computer and put the headphones back in the box before you leave the computer room.

15 minutes > watch episode 7 and 8 of The Flatmates: and do the language point and the quiz (in theory you have already done the previous ones).

20 minutes > Practise listening to situations about restaurants. Listen and read at least one of the dialogues in each category. Write and remember at least 10 useful expressions with the translation into Spanish (you can use the Oxford dictionary) about those conversation and write them here as a reply to this post. Don't forget to include your name at the end of your post.

15 minutes > visit the blog of another teacher, Ana Méndez, and do the part with the title APLE:HOMOPHONES. You have to do it in order. First video, crossword, game and second video. Enjoy yourselves!!!

Good luck on your exams!!!!
Javier
