APLE HOMEWORK 5/10. Deadline Sunday March 20th

Now that you have watched the film "Room" and that I told you to do some research on people who had been kidnapped for a very long period of time,  I want  you to listen to this news from November 2013. It is very short, so you can listen to it many times. They speak with a British accent. If you prefer to listen to it with an American accent, you can do it here.

Once you have listened to the story, at least once, listen again and answer these questions about it.

1.	In which part of London were the women held captive?
2.	How old are the suspected captors?
3.	Who did one of the captive women alert?
4.	What are the captives' nationalities?
5.	Who is thought to have been born a captive?
6.	In what mental state did police describe the women as being?

A) You must READ the question aloud and then ANSWER it ORALLY and then send it to me in a voice file.

B) Read this article about it in The Guardian and send me an audio file with a summary of the piece of news. Try to give any details you didn't hear in the audio for the first part.

So remember, you must send me TWO AUDIO FILES. One with the questions and another one with the summary of the newspaper article.

APLE HOMEWORK 4/10. Deadline Friday March 11th

Did you see the Oscar Awards Ceremony?

Are you interested in actresses and fashion?

Here are ten of the outfits that actresses or celebrities wore that night.

You have to choose your three favourites and the worst one in your opinion, describe them and say why you like them or hate them. This is an ORAL activity, so you must send me an audio file.

Apart from that, send me also a Word file with the names of the people you know from the pictures. One of them is repeated, but with two different outfits. One for the ceremony and a different one for the party after the ceremony.
