APLE HOMEWORK. Deadline Thursday 19th April

Dear Students,
As you know, April 23rd is Book Day to commemorate the day William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes died. For this reason, your homework this week is related to books.
The assignment this week has two parts, but both of them are more or less the same.
The first part is WRITING about a book you have read and enjoyed. You must include the cover of the book and then write a few lines about the book (genre, story [do not tell how it ends, please], length and above all why you like it so much and why  you recommend it to the other students in the school). You must send it to me to my usual email address javiprofeingles@hotmail.com. All your recommendations will be printed and placed in the school hall so that all the students in the school can watch them. I'd love you to recommend a book in English, but it can also be a book in Spanish.
The second part is just recording your recommendation in this voicethread. Try not to read exactly what you have just written, because it usually makes it really artificial.

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies," said Jojen. "The man who never reads lives only one.”
― George R.R. Martin, A Dance With Dragons

Good luck
Javier
